Hon. Larry Wallace Jr., Ph.D. will be speaking about Enhancing Veteran Support Systems.

The Veterans Leadership Task Force strives to better connect the Veterans Health Administration with campus and local community health services. It hopes to mitigate redundancies, give providers more access to patient information, improve patient outcomes & experience, and increase the efficient use of federal, state, and local taxes.

Objectives

• Participated will be informed on the various national and state legislations, services, and programs established to support veterans;
• The importance of veteran services and support programs to be connected with the Veterans Health Administration;
• The importance of veteran self-identification; and
• The common veteran engagement hindrances to self-identification and Veterans Health Administration Enrollment.
